Fortidex Taura Strengthens Its International Presence Through Exports and Strategic Partnerships
The industrial plant of FORTIDEX, located in Taura, continues to strengthen its international positioning thanks to the sustained growth of its exports and collaborations with companies and multinational corporations operating under strict quality and traceability standards.
Currently, nearly 60% of the company’s industrial production is destined for international markets, while its consumer product lines are primarily commercialized outside Ecuador, reinforcing the brand’s presence within the global animal nutrition and high-value marine solutions industry.
The company stated that this growth is driven by a strategy focused on innovation, quality control, and the development of functional ingredients derived from marine resources.
Among its main production lines are shrimp meal, marine protein hydrolysates, and other specialized ingredients aimed at the aquaculture and food industries.
Thanks to its industrial processes and operational capacity, the Taura plant has successfully established commercial relationships with international companies that require high levels of technical compliance, food safety, and sustainability throughout the production chain.
This international expansion also reflects the growth of Ecuador’s aquaculture sector, particularly shrimp farming, one of the country’s most important export industries. In this context, Fortidex seeks to continue expanding its global reach through nutritional solutions developed with industrial technology and standards aligned with international market demands.
